So we have been trying to introduce having the girls teach our Family Home Evening lessons on Mondays.  It has been a lot of fun to see their view on gospel topics, and also the objects they use in their lessons.  Last week we had Bella teach us about the birth of our Savior.  with Violet being Mary and Lily being Jesus. (we have to make due with what we have)

My Messiest Kid!!

So I'm just starting to laugh now but at the time of this tornado I wasn't so happy.  Does anyone else have a kid that just can stand to have the food on their highchair in front of them, it just has to be on the floor and all over them?  Well I have one and her name is Rilee Shae Breinholt.  I love that little girl so much, she make me laugh so hard with the little things that she does BUT please just give me one meal that doesn't end up on the floor with very little ending up in your mouth.  It has to stop, you know it is messy when a broom doesn't do the job.  Option 2 is the vacuum which I know isn't a wet vac. but still does a great job, the only problem is I don't know how much longer the vacuum will go if we continue this method.  Option 3 of a Rilee mess cleanup is the shovel method, not an actual shovel but pretty close the dust pan.  Yes, I know that is ridiculous.  You are right it is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. If it wasn't for her face and that smile, I think I would loose my mind every night after dinner.  I read this the other day "Your children get only one childhood". and it really hit home to me.  So with that said, I will grin and I will bear!!

Night time

There are very few things in this life better than laying in bed with my girls.  I love it when my energy out last their's which doesn't happen very often, but when it does and I am able to watch their little bodys slowly check out. Their hands go from a very tight grip around my finger to a limp, relaxed one.  I love just staring at them wondering what this world is going to have for them.  Its such a great end to a crazy day.  I love my girls!

Trip To Star Valley in Wyoming

We had a great time this Summer.  We have been able to do a lot of fun things.  To finish off our Summer trips we decided to go to Star Valley and go ride some horses.  Bella Had a great time, a little nervous at first but as she got comfortable she was riding the horses all by herself reins and all.  Lily was comfortable right from the start we even had to keep an eye on her because she liked to kick the horse to get it to go where she wanted it to go.  She even got it to go up a large mount of dirt, crazy girl.  After showing her how to feed the horses with a flat hand the rest was history.  Violet would ride but was a little afraid if she wasn't on their back.  Rilee rode once but liked the trampoline the most.  We had so much fun we had to buy them all boots for the second day. Check them out!!  What a great trip here are some of the photos.

Nice boots

Thank You Heavenly Father

No pictures today! No video to view. I just wanted to write a quick thank you letter to Heavenly Father. I sat down tonight after putting all the girls to bed for the third night in a row with out my lover Amber. Amber has been anxiously engaged in planning Girls Camp with a bunch of meetings to get things ready for next week. I sat down and started to think to myself how on earth does my wife do it. How does she keep up with these young little spirits. How does she clean the house, watch half the neighborhood, magnify her calling in young womens, take the kids to the library, to the parks, take them on bike rides, and still find time to brush their teeth, comb their hair, read scriptures, say their prayers and bath them, and when I lay my head down and begin to close my eyes after a somewhat easy day at work she says "We need to help so and so, their life is crazy right now". Can you pick up flowers tomorrow for so and so she is not having a good week". and some times this, "Don't be mad we are watching so and so tomorrow for three days their mom is having a hard time, I though we could help because we are so blessed with a slow paced life and easy kids". Amber is amazing not only is she a great mother and friend to all the people around her she is a AMAZING Best friend to me. I am so grateful to Heavenly Father for how genuine she is, she has an amazing gift to know when people just need someone. This is sometimes hard for me because I get pushed to the side for a moment, but the blessing I see as I friend comes to our door with tear filled eyes telling me how Amber "just knew what to do". We are so blessed by her service in our family, I have a strong testimony of what President Marion G. Romney said. He stated in a Conference talk in 1980 this, "you cannot give yourself poor in this work", and then he quoted his mission president, Melvin J. Ballard, this way: "A person cannot give a crust to the Lord without receiving a loaf in return". How true that is. Thank you Heavenly Father for such a great partner for the eternities. Thanks you for having her push me to become who you would want me to be. Thank you for the special moments we have been able to share already over the past 9 years. thank you thank you thank you. I love you Amber

Breinholt Funniest Home Videos

Lily Takes a Dive. from Jonathan Breinholt on Vimeo.

This one is good!!  Especially when Violet laughs because she sees Lily take a dive and Bella get hurt.  I guess that's what we get when we watch Americans Funniest Home Videos.

Oh No Lily has Blue Tonguetiasis

We have a awesome tradition in our home where I get to take my girls on a special date.  each girl gets a particular month.  Lily and I got to go to a Real game last time, I had a blast.  She didn't pay much attention to the game but she sure made everyone around her chuckle as she screamed at the top of her lungs the whole game.  Phrases like "Ole Ole Ole Ole, Real, Salt lake" and "Gooooooo Real", and we can't forget "R, S, L".  It was none stop.  About half way through the game I noticed she got a bad case of  Blue Tonguetiasis.  All my girls get this when ever they go to a Real game.  It must be from the yelling. (or the bright blue cotton candy)  Lily yelled so much at the game when I took her to bed after she had fallen asleep in my arms and as I tuck her in, she said "Ole Ole Ole Ole, Real, Saaaallllllllttttttttt llllllaaaaakkke".  Pretty fun date if you ask me!!

Happy Fathers Day

Here is what I woke up to on fathers day. Kids continue to amaze me on how creative they can be. It seems like my girls whole life purpose is to try and get Amber and I to laugh. I think they succeed at least a couple times a day. I won't get mad that they have about $10 of pull-ups on because of the nice dancing they incorporated into the getup.

Here is some great footage of the event!! Sorry it was so dark, it was like 7 in the morning on Sunday, and I wanted to sleep in!!

Orange Julius

"Can we have a movie and some orange julius?"  This is the Question EVERY night.  I think we go through about two cans of frozen OJ every week.  Is it good for them?  Probably not.  Does it make them all wet the bed?  Most nights.  Does it make them extremely happy?  You bet it does, and since we are parents that give our kids what ever they want, this works out really well for us and them. :-)

BLUE Suckers

All I have to say, is this posting is for Kristy Singley, who hates Blue suckers.  She has band them in her house because of the stain it leaves on her kids mouths.  look at what you are missing out on.

Another great shot of Rilee.  I'm so grateful for this girl.  In the kitchen all by herself looking out the sliding glass door anticipating what she will be able to do out there after she finishes her toast.

Kids make me laugh

After wanting me to make a special blend (Amber's Favorite) of icecream. Consisting of Hersey Syrup and Vanilla stirred until it is soft. Violet had a freak out because I had made myself a Berry Smoothie and didn't make her one also.  I had only taken two bites of my smoothie and not wanting to worry about the fight I would have with her when I said she already had ice cream I just gave in and gave her the rest of mine.  After walking across the kitchen to get a drink, I decided to see how Violet was possibley eating both the Ice cream and the smoothie.  This is what I found.  Literally "Fast Asleep"

You just can't win sometime, but lucky for me I got MY smoothie back :-)
