Chase's First Day

Everything went really great today.  Chase passed all the tests and is doing great. Amber is doing really good also. She told me today that it was the least painful birth yet so we are pretty happy about that.
We would also like to thank all those amazing friends and family members that have helped. We are so blessed to live so close to amazing people.

Meet Chase Oliver Breinholt

Meet the newest addition to the Breinholt family.  Chase Oliver Breinholt.  He was born at 3:25 pm on April 25, 2012.  He weighed 6 lbs and 15 oz.  and was 19" long.  We are so excited to have this new and different addition to the family.  We are so blessed, everything went better than we ever expected.

The Birthing table

It looks like we are getting closer. They have brought out the "table". Amber is at an 8 and is looking to pop any minute. She is just taking a nap for the final push (literally).  It's a really nice day to deliver 70 degrees and overcast.  Not bad for April.

Seems to be getting closer

I should have eating lunch!  Ice chips may work for a mother in labor but it doesnt do anything for me.  Thanks mom for watching the girls today hope they are being sweet.  Generally when something exciting is happening they tend to be a little crazy.

Waiting, waiting

Things are moving a little slower than normal, but that is expected being a few weeks early. Amber is doing good she is feeling a little sick the last few hours but over all she is doing good. She is dilated to a 5, and we should have a baby shortly.(I hope)

The epidural!!!

Okay it is time for me to leave for a brief moment. No thanks on watching that! Don't want to pass out like the first baby.

Time for a baby!!

Well, Amber is all hooked up and ready to go.  Now the fun begins.  This never gets old or boring, my heart is racing like the first.

Life Doesn't get better than this!!!

Amber's Birthday was yesterday and I decided to stay home from work and spoil her.  Fortunately for all the other girls they were able to tag along also.  This was a lot of fun to watch, I asked Bella what Nail salon  she like the most and she said "this one is really nice, but the last one I went to give you a bottled water also".  My girls are way spoiled.  I figure if I spoil them now they will spoil me latter.. I hope it works!

So we have been trying to introduce having the girls teach our Family Home Evening lessons on Mondays.  It has been a lot of fun to see their view on gospel topics, and also the objects they use in their lessons.  Last week we had Bella teach us about the birth of our Savior.  with Violet being Mary and Lily being Jesus. (we have to make due with what we have)

My Messiest Kid!!

So I'm just starting to laugh now but at the time of this tornado I wasn't so happy.  Does anyone else have a kid that just can stand to have the food on their highchair in front of them, it just has to be on the floor and all over them?  Well I have one and her name is Rilee Shae Breinholt.  I love that little girl so much, she make me laugh so hard with the little things that she does BUT please just give me one meal that doesn't end up on the floor with very little ending up in your mouth.  It has to stop, you know it is messy when a broom doesn't do the job.  Option 2 is the vacuum which I know isn't a wet vac. but still does a great job, the only problem is I don't know how much longer the vacuum will go if we continue this method.  Option 3 of a Rilee mess cleanup is the shovel method, not an actual shovel but pretty close the dust pan.  Yes, I know that is ridiculous.  You are right it is ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. If it wasn't for her face and that smile, I think I would loose my mind every night after dinner.  I read this the other day "Your children get only one childhood". and it really hit home to me.  So with that said, I will grin and I will bear!!
